2017 Holiday Gift Guide – For ANYONE On Your List

To round out my holiday gift guides for 2017 – if you missed them check out my kiddo and runner guides! – here is a list of gift ideas for ANYONE on your lists: mom, dad, sister, brother, in-laws, grandparents, etc.  The internet is a vast land full of products, stores, and choices – so I did some browsing to help narrow it down for you! Plus I selflessly (haha!) did some testing on a few of these items to make sure they were up to snuff.  It’s a tough job but someone’s got to do it! I’m happy to be a little Christmas elf just for you guys!

Happy shopping and happy holidays! It truly is the most wonderful time of year 🙂

Loopy Case – $35 and up

Loopy Case

Spend 10 minutes with me, and there’s a good chance I’ll start telling you about my Loopy. I love it SO much.  It’s truly a genius idea – and it helps me keep a grip on my phone when I’m running around chasing L&H or out doing errands.  Available in a wide range of colors and sizes – including Apple, Samsung, and Google Pixel – it’s a great gift for anyone on your list no matter their phone!

Apple Airpods – $159

Okay so if my phone is in my hand (Loopied of course), then my Airpods are in my ears or my pocket ready to pop in my ears.  I LOVE my Airpods.  L&H got me some for my birthday (how awesome of them right?!).  Not going to lie I thought they were unnecessary and expensive – but now I am a complete believer.  Open the case and the AirPods automatically connect to your phone or Apple device, audio automatically plays or calls connect as soon as you put them in your ears and pause when you take them out! Plus there’s no cord to get tangled up in your pocket (rejoice!).  A splurge but worth it for yourself a loved one on your list.

Patagonia Better Sweaters 1/4 Zip – $99

Better Sweater

Available in both mens’ and womens’ versions, the Patagonia Better Sweater is a favorite in our household.  Seriously if they had a kids version L&H would have them too.  The Better Sweater is a cross between a fleece and a sweater featuring the best parts of both – it’s super warm, but isn’t bulky or itchy. It comes in a bunch of colors which means you can buy one for everyone on your list without it being a “matching” gift.  OR just buy a bunch for yourself.  But buyer take note: shop around for these – I’ve seen them as much as 40% off at BackCountry.com !!

Yeti Mug – $29.99

Yeti Mug

If I don’t have a toddler in my arms, or my Loopied iPhone in my hands, then I’m FOR SURE holding my giant 30oz mug.  (You guys, don’t you just really want to hang out with me? I’m clearly really cool.).  No but seriously, a Yeti mug is the best way I stay hydrated – I make a goal to drink 3-4 mugs per day.  Perfect for commuters, office dwellers, moms trying to remember when they last took a sip of water, and more! Ice stays cold FOREVER in these, and hot beverages stay warm! Pair some Silicon Straws or a Yeti Handle for a great gift pack!

LLBean Wicked Good Moccasins – $79

Wicked Good Moccs

Available in both mens’ and womens’ versions, these slippers truly are named correctly.  They are WICKED GOOD.  They are super cozy and so fluffy.  They’re lined with shearling which keeps your toes toasty and insulated, but also wicks moisture away from your feet.  And they’re very comfortable since each pair has a memory foam footbed! So there’s lots of arch support and cushioning through the heel.  I wear mine all year long – and have actually considered getting a second pair….to wear outside the house.  Slippers as shoes is cool, right?! And worth noting is that the Wicked Good Moccs, as with all LLBean products, is backed by their ‘LLBean Guarantee‘ – which means if they EVER (seriously ever….like 10 years after you buy them) break or wear out, the company will send you a new pair no questions asked.

Essential Oils + Diffuser – $16.95 + $19.99

Diffuser

A diffuser with a starter essential oils set is a great gift for anyone looking to de-stress and add some pleasant scents.  I love concocting different combinations based on my moods – Lemon + Rosemary, Cinnamon + Orange, or sometimes I just diffuse straight oils like Peppermint, Lemongrass, or Eucalyptus.  Plus each oil has it’s own health benefits. I’m a big fan of this diffuser, it’s easy to use, simple to clean and has an optional autoshut off mode so if I leave for the day I don’t fret because I know it will click off when it’s done!

One Pot Cookbook – $15.99

One Pot Cookbook

I sing the praises of this cookbook often, but I can’t help it – it’s the best! Chock full of easy dinner ideas that require only one pot (get the name?!) – and I love that it’s broken down into chapters for the skillet, slow cooker, roasting pan, pressure cooker, etc.  Plus, it’s not the same old slow cooker heavy meals you’re used to seeing (sorry but how many ways can you have shredded pork shoulder?).  I’m talking Spanish Rice Stew, Quinoa Chicken and Spring Veggies, Roasted Chicken, Spice Crusted Cod, and more.  It’s a great gift for the busy-but-loves-to-cook person on your list.

Instant Pot – 6 Quart – $99

71A7S1HqW8L._SL1500_

Remember that viral video of the kid getting a Nintendo 64 for Christmas? ( If you don’t – you’ll be so happy you click here) Well, I get an Instant Pot on Christmas morning, I guarantee that will be me. I want an Instant Pot SO BADLY.  It truly is the miracle kitchen tool.  I have a traditional pressure cooker, and sure I love it, but honestly, I’ve used it like 4 times.  It’s clunky, and confusing, and I’m always like ‘why is it hissing at me?!’.  The Instant Pot combines 7 kitchen appliances in 1: Pressure Cooker, Slow Cooker, Rice Cooker, Steamer, Sauté, Yogurt Maker and Warmer.  WHAT more can you need?! Plus it prepares dishes up to 70% faster which for me sounds like a dream. It has all sorts of timers and programmable settings so you can start it even when you’re not home, or if it finishes cooking it will keep your food warm until you come home to eat.  Pretty much Instant Pot is like that live-in chef you can’t afford.  So guys, if you hear loud screams and squeals on Xmas morning – louder than anyone else out there? It’s just me, unwrapping my Instant Pot.  FINGERS CROSSED!

I hope this has been helpful for finding the perfect gift for the littles on your list.  Be sure to check out my other gift guides for runners and kiddos!
