I felt tired for the early part of the week, I think from the 10 Miler Race (which I was still beaming from!) so I took it easy on Monday and Tuesday. Hit the ground running again on Wednesday but on Thursday I woke up with a big cloud over my head.
I was tired, I was cranky, I was achey. I didn’t sleep well at all the night before and just felt so flat all day. The twins and I took it easy all day — mostly just played at the house and went for a short walk. I beat myself up big time that evening though, I felt like I was a bad mom for having an off day. I didn’t ‘bring it’ that day. Thankfully I got one of the best nights sleep I’ve had in a long time on Thursday night and woke up Friday morning feeling MUCH better and ready to tackle the world one mom-job at a time.
I logged nearly 12 miles Friday-Sunday, which was a lot for me these days. Plus we had visitors in town so we walked A LOT. By Sunday night my legs had that awesome so-tired-from-lots-of-fun-and-great-runs feeling.
