The run streak continues! As does the busy-ness…. but that’s okay. I’m sticking to my run streak goal which makes me really happy and proud of myself.
I ran all 7 days last week. I can’t remember the last time I did that. Maybe never? I had to do some short runs some days just to squeeze something in, but it counts. That’s one of my favorite things about the run streak, I don’t feel guilt if I can only get a mile or two in one day because I know the next day I’ll be hitting the pavement again.
The hardest part of the week was that the twins came down with their first cold/fevers. It was hard on mama, I just don’t have enough arms to hold everyone – and all they wanted were snuggles! And they’re teething. And they’ve seem to hit their 6 month sleep regression. So after enjoying 2 months of them sleeping through the night – we are back to 3am wake ups giving bottles and rocking babies to sleep. Anyone have advice for how to survive the 6 month sleep regression?
The MOST exciting thing of the week was when my BOB Revolution PRO Dualie arrived on Friday!! It arrived at the end of the day and I was honestly itching to set it up just to go out in the dark and give it a spin. But alas, I waited until Saturday morning when we hit the sidewalks for a family run! Man, it’s a workout for sure pushing the dualie, but I’m hoping I’ll get used to it… gotta get in “stroller shape”. I’m just so happy that we can do family runs again!
