Recap: Week of 9/5

I was glad to be back running again after my spill.  My face is feeling better and the swelling has gone down so my breathing is a bit easier.  I worked my way back up with 2, 2.5 and 3 mile runs – then on Sunday the 11th I ran 4 miles! It was my longest run since the babies. I used to love long run Sundays (or Saturdays).  I would run, shower, feast, and then relax/snooze for the afternoon.  With two 3 month old babies my long run Sunday looks completely different.  It went something like this: run, shower, feed the babies, play with the babies, stuff food in my face after feeling faint since I hadn’t eaten, feed the babies, play some more, set them down for a nap — repeat until 10pm.  WHEW.  What a difference a year makes.

9/5: 2 miles

9/7: 2.5 miles

9/8: 3 miles

9/11: 4 miles

Total mileage for the week: 11.5 miles
